5th & Mississippi Street Project
The LNDC is participating in a joint project with Habitat for Humanity and the Coulee Housing Development Organization to redevelop one of the most challenged corners in the Washburn Neighborhood - from deteriorating, sub-standard housing to new, mixed-income, quality housing.
This project will be completed in 2018. LNDC's piece is to develop two, owner-occupied, market-rate housing units. The buyers of these units will be eligible to apply for educational scholarships from La Crosse Promise.
